February- March 2014

I always mean to take more pictures than I do!  Here we are about to leave to take my mom to the airport but wait!  We need to take picture of her with all the kids first.  Hilarity ensues.
Lucy was crying five seconds ago but now is laughing like a maniac.  I have no idea what Charlie is doing to his eyes.

Of course Charlie smiles as soon as Peter begins to cry.

Just a cute guy getting ready for church.

Look at that big bald head!

A slightly more shy cute guy.

Lucy ready to go to a friend's dress up birthday party.

Another snowy day:

Charlie hates the cold.  I'm with you, bud.
Lucy is burying her legs in the snow.

James took a break from shoveling the sidewalk to throw chunks of snow down on Lucy.

Charlie is done with the cold but still interested in the action.

In spite of the snow, we still managed to bury the Alleluia on Ash Wednesday for Lent.  We'll dig it up on Easter morning!

Peter reallllllllly likes bath time.

On St. Joseph's Day, our preschool group made a St. Joseph altar which is a Sicilian tradition.
The braided bread represents his staff, tools to represent his work, grapes/figs/almonds for the Holy Land, and of course Mary and Jesus are present too.

The kids hammered nails into little boards and then painted them with watercolors.

Show and tell  :-)

In the middle of sweeping, I left to answer my phone and came back to find this.

Our jolly boy.

We took a field trip to the police station.
Lucy is holding the handcuffs.

Below one of the moms is getting fingerprinted.
They showed us the holding cells and all the kids thought the bunkbeds were the coolest.

Even though it was a snowy day, we still had to see the police car.

Standing!
