This post brought to you by the number 3

Confirmed thumbsucking!

Thumbsucking and ear holding at the same time.

"What?"

She sleeps...

she stirs...

she stretches! (my favorite part of every morning)

Daddy time.

Mommy time.

Super baby!

This next one requires a bit of explanation. I was changing Lucy the other day and had set her PJs above her head. While I was changing her, she grabbed her PJs and started pulling them over her head. It was too cute not to document.

We've officially set up camp at the St. John's Newman Center in Champaign, Illinois for FOCUS summer training. It's been about a week and a half so we're getting in the groove of things. It kind of cracks me up to be living in a dorm room with a baby, but it's actually working out quite well! I enjoy it because there's no cooking or cleaning (a cleaning service comes by every week!), they are very new dorms (built a year ago) so it is a much nicer dorm experience than I had, and there are always moms and other friends to hang out with. The classes that James goes to are optional for me, so I choose a few that look interesting or pertinent to me. Lucy usually ends up snoozing during them, which is just great. When we aren't attending classes, we take walks around the campus, check out libraries, or head back to our room so Lucy can take an extended nap. I'm always amazed at the generosity of the missionaries and their appreciation of families here at training. Many of them come up to us in the cafeteria and beg me to let them hold Lucy, which is great because then I get to eat a meal with both hands free! Lucy loves the extra play time and is usually more than happy to smile at someone else for a while. Overall it's been a wonderful experience so far!
