Lucy has two favorite past-times lately. One is to grab an item of clothing from the dirty laundry basket and put it on her head. Once she has managed to put whatever it is on her head, she runs around thoroughly delighted with herself, squealing. She's pleased if it sits on top of her head like a hat, but the goal is for it to cover her entire face. The second one makes for some dangerous running around...
Favorite past-time number two is to try to squeeze herself into the smallest space possible. She first started doing this with a little plastic drum. It takes a lot of concentration.
Once she could go in and out of the plastic drum pretty confidently, she went for something smaller-- my salad spinner that I usually leave on a low shelf for her to play with.
These two activities literally occupy most of her day, and they keep us laughing (until she runs into a wall while wearing a pair of stretchy pants on her head).
