Easter!

We had a great Triduum and Easter here at the Stanley house. We even made it to the Easter vigil mass at the Cathedral (3 hours!). Lucy was a champ. After a restful sleep, she woke up ready to hunt some eggs.

She was delighted to shake all the eggs and soon figured out how to open them. There was chocolate for James, jelly beans for me, and relatively sugary cereal for Lucy.

We also started an Easter tradition of a cinnamon roll lamb (I'm starting to think that every holiday can be made better with cinnamon rolls).

We went to celebrate with the Brinkers where there were more eggs waiting to be found. These eggs were real, and all of the ones Lucy found were cracked within seconds.

  1. I LOVE your cinnamon roll lamb for Easter. And in another entry (the Halloween one), I LOVE the bat costume. Your skills amaze me.

And I love your blog in general. The pictures are great. As I'm sure you've been told many times (okay, people tell you all the time on Facebook, so it's less that I'm sure and more than I know), your daughter is beautiful and so, so cute!

I hope that the Lord continues to bless you and your lives in Washington!
